About the Organisation
The Electoral Commission of Uganda, also Uganda Electoral Commission, is a constitutionally established organ of the Government of Uganda, whose mandate is to "organise and conduct regular, free and fair elections" in the country, in an efficient, professional and impartial manner.
The Electoral Commission is a constitutional body mandated under the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, 1995 (as amended), to organize, conduct, and supervise regular, free, fair, and transparent elections and referenda. The Commission is currently implementing the 2026 General Elections Roadmap and is preparing for the countrywide Display of the National Voters Register, a key pre-election activity.

Job Description
Display Officers will be responsible for displaying the National Voters Register at designated polling stations, guiding voters through the process, verifying the accuracy of voter information, and assisting in identifying any errors or ineligible entries. Officers will also fill out relevant forms, deliver materials to Parish Election Officers, and perform any other assigned duties to support the smooth execution of the voter display exercise.
Location:
All districts across Uganda (at each polling station)
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Display the Voters Registers at the polling station.
Guide voters through the display process.
Fill in forms related to the objection of inclusion or omission of voters.
Re-check and confirm the accuracy of voter information.
Deliver display materials to Parish Election Officers.
Ensure safe custody of display kits and materials.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Parish and/or Sub County Supervisors.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum of an Advanced Level (A’ Level) Certificate with at least one principal pass.
Good handwriting and the ability to fill forms accurately and completely.
Previous experience as a Display Officer or involvement in similar electoral fieldwork is an added advantage.
High level of discipline, integrity, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be available to take up the assignment by Tuesday, 15th April 2025.
Must provide a phone number registered in their own name on mobile money.
