Data Science Manager job at National Social Security Fund
National Social Security Fund
Job Purpose:
Responsible for overseeing the execution of enterprise data science frameworks consistent with the organization’s goals. In addition, developing and implementing data science models to solve high-impact business use cases and creating data-driven solutions to improve efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Developing and executing detailed prescriptive and predictive analysis including advanced mathematical modelling, artificial intelligence and machine learning modelling, monitoring business issues and impact on customers.
Lead the team to identify, build and implement scalable data-driven models to high-impact business use cases.
Responsible for communicating analytics model behavior/ results to business.
AI / ML Integration within Business processes to create new experiences and/or reimagine old processes.
Responsible for carrying out technical risk analysis and reliability assessments.
Apply a strong understanding of data science techniques and libraries to business problems.
Build department-wide data science frameworks and capabilities through brokering access to data sources and providing upskilling opportunities.
Foster cross-functional team collaboration to acquire holistic input/domain knowledge required to build high-impact data science models in the context of the specific use cases.
Facilitate desired productivity and quality performance from team and stakeholders, based on defined KPIs as set by management teams across the department.
Provide oversight of data science teams involved in agile scrum teams.
Provide leadership and coaching to the team to enhance high performance.

Education Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology related field or numeracy-based.
A professional qualification in Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate, IBM Data Science Professional Certificate or related field.
Work Experience:
7 years of working experience in data analysis or data management with 3 years at a managerial level.
