Job Description

The role of a Regional Relationship Manager in Enterprise Banking involves managing and growing relationships with large business clients within a specific region. This position focuses on understanding client needs, providing tailored financial solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

  • Client Acquisition: Identifying and acquiring new enterprise clients within the assigned region.

  • Client Retention: Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term loyalty.

  • Account Management: Acting as the main point of contact for enterprise clients, addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly.


Financial Solutions and Services:

  • Needs Assessment: Conducting detailed assessments of client financial needs and business goals.

  • Product Offering: Recommending appropriate banking products and services, such as loans, treasury management, and cash management solutions.

  • Customized Solutions: Developing tailored financial solutions to meet the unique needs of each enterprise client.


Business Development:

  • Market Analysis: Conducting market research to identify opportunities for growth and understanding industry trends.

  • Sales Strategies: Implementing sales and marketing strategies to expand the bank’s market share within the region.

  • Networking: Building and maintaining a network of business contacts and potential clients.


Risk Management:

  • Credit Analysis: Assessing the creditworthiness of clients and making recommendations for credit approvals.

  • Compliance: Ensuring all client interactions and transactions comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • Risk Mitigation: Identifying potential risks in client portfolios and developing strategies to mitigate them.


Performance Monitoring:

  • Targets and Goals: Setting and achieving sales and relationship management targets.

  • Reporting: Preparing regular reports on client activity, pipeline development, and financial performance.

  • Feedback Collection: Gathering and acting on client feedback to improve services and client satisfaction.


Team Collaboration:

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Working with internal teams, such as product development, credit, and operations, to deliver comprehensive solutions.

  • Mentorship: Providing guidance and mentorship to junior relationship managers and other team members.

Qualifications and Competencies
