Job Description
The Consultant will coordinate and support the National Technology Forum (NTF) and its subcommittees, manage logistical needs, ensure timely implementation of deliverables, and maintain communication with sponsors, exhibitors, service providers, and international partners. Responsibilities include stakeholder liaison, monitoring progress against the work plan, preparing reports, organizing meeting logistics, and overseeing volunteer and technical support teams. A detailed work plan, progress reports, and a final consultancy report will also be required.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Support the NTF Committee and Subcommittees with scheduling, agenda preparation, minutes recording, and action follow-up.
Serve as the communication liaison among UIPE, FAEO, UNESCO, UTB, WFEO, and other stakeholders.
Track implementation of the conference work plan and manage timelines and deliverables.
Facilitate effective communication with sponsors, exhibitors, and service providers.
Coordinate all logistics, including venue arrangements, registration, protocol, and delegate services.
Manage travel and accommodation for key participants.
Prepare progress reports and maintain documentation.
Coordinate volunteers and technical support teams.
Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Executive Secretary or NTF Chairperson.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Engineering, Communications, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
A Master's degree is an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in coordinating large-scale events or conferences.
Skills:
Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media, and collaboration tools.
Ability to interact with diverse stakeholders professionally.
Added Advantages:
Prior experience with professional or international organizations.
Familiarity with the African engineering sector.
UIPE membership in good standing.
