Job Description
The Collection/Relationship Officer will be responsible for collecting customer repayments promptly and securely. This role involves maintaining a strong portfolio, ensuring timely loan repayments, and providing support and education to customers regarding loan terms and financial responsibility. The officer will also proactively address repayment issues and maintain accurate records of collections.
Key responsibilities include:
Collect and deposit customer repayments on time and securely.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure consistent loan repayment.
Educate customers on the terms of their loans, repayment schedules, and the importance of financial discipline.
Identify and address repayment issues proactively to ensure smooth cash flow.
Maintain daily records of collections and submit daily collection reports.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Collect and bank customer repayments securely and on time.
Develop and maintain a portfolio of clients.
Build and nurture strong customer relationships for consistent loan repayments.
Educate customers on loan terms and encourage financial discipline.
Identify repayment issues and address them proactively.
Ensure accurate record-keeping and provide daily reports on collections.
Contribute to the overall success of the team by meeting set targets.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
A Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
“O” Level Certificate with a credit in English and Mathematics (an added advantage) and at least 2 principal passes at “A” Level.
Fluency in Luganda (spoken and written).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High integrity and ability to handle cash securely.
Previous experience in collections, sales, or customer service (1 to 2 years) is an advantage but not required; freshers are encouraged to apply.
Age: 20-35 years.
