Provide first-level support to users for IT-related problems, record all incidents and follow them up to resolution.
Provide first-level support to users for IT-related problems, record all incidents and follow them up to resolution.
Support in management and maintenance of URSB ICT infrastructure including LANs and WANs, Wi-Fi, networks, computers, laptops and other devices across the organization.
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
Provide support in a face-to-face capacity, over the phone or via remote desktop software, helping staff or clients set up systems or resolve issues.
Support the roll-out of new applications or systems with the organisation by testing and evaluating new technologies.
Train users on new technologies implemented by the organization.Ensure compliance and adherence to ICT policies and procedures.
Execute the operational plans for the ICT systems and manage the inventory of all assets.
Prepare periodic reports in line with the organization’s reporting guidelines.
Any other duties assigned from time to time by the supervisor

Key Outputs
To provide overall IT support to the office by installing, and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solving technical and application problems for the users.
Qualification and Experience
An Honors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any other related discipline from a recognized institution.
Relevant certifications in business processes, IT systems, and customer support is an added advantage.
Personal Specification
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in computer software applications.
Ability to liaise and network with other Government Departments.
