Job Description

As a Business Operations Administrator, you will play a central role in maintaining Anagram’s daily business functions. You will work cross-functionally to support payroll, vendor and customer payments, expense management, document handling, onboarding logistics, and compliance processes. Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of experience in a similar role, be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in dynamic environments. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, supporting teams, and enhancing operational efficiency in a fast-paced, remote startup culture.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist with payroll processes (domestic and international), including off-cycle payments and commissions

  • Manage vendor payments, wire transfers, and billing system transactions

  • Generate and follow up on customer invoices; coordinate clean month-end closes with accounting

  • Support expense and card management through platforms like Ramp

  • Coordinate with external accountants and tax partners for compliance and reporting

  • Maintain daily business operations including document handling, compliance tracking, and policy renewals

  • Manage virtual mailbox and route correspondence internally

  • Oversee procurement for new hires and assist in onboarding logistics

  • Support sourcing and management of company insurance policies

  • Provide general administrative support and continuously improve internal processes

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • 1–3 years of experience in business operations, office administration, or related support roles

  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus

  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently

  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of discretion with confidential information

  • Comfortable using tools such as Gusto, Deel, Ramp, Stripe, Google Workspace, Slack, etc.
