Job Description
As a Business Operations Administrator, you will play a central role in maintaining Anagram’s daily business functions. You will work cross-functionally to support payroll, vendor and customer payments, expense management, document handling, onboarding logistics, and compliance processes. Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of experience in a similar role, be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in dynamic environments. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, supporting teams, and enhancing operational efficiency in a fast-paced, remote startup culture.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Assist with payroll processes (domestic and international), including off-cycle payments and commissions
Manage vendor payments, wire transfers, and billing system transactions
Generate and follow up on customer invoices; coordinate clean month-end closes with accounting
Support expense and card management through platforms like Ramp
Coordinate with external accountants and tax partners for compliance and reporting
Maintain daily business operations including document handling, compliance tracking, and policy renewals
Manage virtual mailbox and route correspondence internally
Oversee procurement for new hires and assist in onboarding logistics
Support sourcing and management of company insurance policies
Provide general administrative support and continuously improve internal processes

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
1–3 years of experience in business operations, office administration, or related support roles
Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus
Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of discretion with confidential information
Comfortable using tools such as Gusto, Deel, Ramp, Stripe, Google Workspace, Slack, etc.
