Job Description
This position plays a critical role in enabling strategic delivery by supporting the execution of projects, programs, and initiatives within the Office of the CEO. The Business Manager will consolidate reports on initiative status, monitor performance metrics, and provide insights into the implementation of strategic objectives. The role includes advising on governance practices, managing business performance, enhancing financial controls, and offering strategic guidance to ensure that goals are aligned with Group ambitions. The incumbent is expected to participate in performance management planning, utilize advanced data analysis tools, and support executives with decision-making resources.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Support implementation of the Group’s strategy through program and project management
Consolidate and analyze data on initiative progress and performance metrics
Produce strategic reports and provide actionable insights for executive decision-making
Maintain governance frameworks and support adherence to financial regulations and policies
Advise on best practices for operationalizing strategy across business units or regions
Lead and participate in planning and performance management processes
Present financial and strategic information using advanced reporting tools
Contribute to business efficiency improvements and delivery gap mitigation
Engage with multiple stakeholders to align objectives and track execution progress

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, or CIMA
Experience:
7–9 years of post-qualification experience
Strong background in financial modeling and data mining
Proven experience balancing financial and business performance
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint (advanced presentation skills required)
Familiarity with macroeconomic conditions, regulatory frameworks, and IFRS standards
