Job Description

Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client in the Fintech sector, we are looking for a competent, skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to work in Kampala Uganda.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Business Development Manager, you will be a pivotal force in shaping our growth trajectory. Your role will encompass strategic planning, client engagement, and market expansion. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive revenue, foster lasting relationships, and contribute to the company’s
International’s success. This position offers an exciting blend of creativity, strategy, and impact.

Duties and Responsibilities

Market Research and Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and untapped opportunities.

  • Analyze customer needs, pain points, and industry dynamics to inform our business development strategy.


Lead Generation and Prospecting

  • Develop a robust pipeline of potential clients through networking, referrals, cold calling, and targeted outreach.

  • Qualify leads based on alignment with our solutions and strategic goals.


Client Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Collaborate closely with the client services team to address any concerns promptly and proactively.

Proposal Development and Solution Positioning

  • Collaborate with product managers and technical experts to create compelling proposals tailored to client requirements.

  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of the company’s International’s offerings.


Negotiation and Deal Closure

  • Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract finalization.

  • Strive for win-win outcomes that benefit both the client and our organization.


Market Expansion Strategies

  • Identify new markets and segments for growth.

  • Develop entry strategies, including partnerships, alliances, and market penetration plans.


Collaboration and Alignment

  • Work closely with the executive team, product development, and marketing to align business development efforts with overall company goals.

  • Provide valuable insights to enhance our product roadmap.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.


Mandatory Requirements

  • Proven success of at least 5 years in business development, preferably within the technology or software industry in the host country.

  • Familiarity with local banking, financial services, and related sectors.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Competencies required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
