Job Description
The Branch Manager will develop monthly demand plans, drive sales targets, review sales force productivity, and manage the branch budget. The role also includes planning and executing promotional activities, overseeing stock management, ensuring financial accountability, and handling human resource functions such as recruitment, training, and performance management. The manager will be responsible for fostering a cooperative and collaborative work environment while maintaining high standards of operational efficiency.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement monthly demand plans for the branch
Drive sales targets and conduct periodic reviews
Ensure proper time management and planning by the sales team
Monitor and maintain proper stock levels at the branch warehouse
Oversee all branch administration functions
Ensure 100% accountability and control over approved credits
Manage branch financial transactions, including income and expenses
Conduct market research and report competitor activities
Plan and execute promotional activities with the marketing team
Manage manpower planning, recruitment, and training
Oversee employee performance, leave management, and disciplinary actions
Drive conflict resolution and ensure commercial discipline within the territory

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Branch Management position, preferably in wholesale, production, or FMCG sectors
Strong commercial and financial acumen
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Hands-on experience with stock management and financial accountability
Fluent in written and spoken English
