Job Description
Binding new books, periodicals, and other printed materials using various binding techniques such as stitching, gluing, or sewing.
Duties and Responsibilities
Binding new books, periodicals, and other printed materials using various binding techniques such as stitching, gluing, or sewing.
Repairing and restoring damaged or worn books, including reattaching covers, mending torn pages, and reinforcing bindings.
Preparing materials for binding, including cutting and folding paper, assembling pages, and attaching covers.
Operating and maintaining binding equipment, such as cutting machines, stitching machines, and presses.
Ensuring the quality and durability of finished products by inspecting and adjusting bindings as needed.
Collaborating with library staff to prioritize and complete binding projects according to the university's needs.

Qualifications and Competencies
Applicants For The Position Of Assistant Lecturer Should Not Exceed 40 Years Of Age At The Time Of Application And Should Have A Cgpa Of 4.0 And Above.
Applicants For All Other Positions Should Not Exceed 55 Years Of Age At The Time Of Application
Academic Qualifications Should Be From Recognized Academic Institutions.
