Job Description
The Blockchain Developer / Senior Software Engineer will contribute to the development and maintenance of blockchain-based applications within the Digital Assets Technology Team. Responsibilities include smart contract development, transaction solutions, token operations, and ensuring high-level security and scalability in program architecture. The role will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate blockchain solutions with mobile and web platforms.
Candidates must have hands-on experience with blockchain technology, particularly smart contract development, and be proficient in Solidity, Rust, and TypeScript. The position is eligible for hybrid or fully remote work in select U.S. locations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy smart contracts on multiple blockchain platforms
Create and optimize on-chain architectures for performance and security
Develop solutions for transactions, token minting, transfers, and staking
Conduct rigorous testing and audits for all smart contracts
Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product teams
Write unit and integration tests for contract reliability
Maintain and upgrade smart contracts for backward compatibility

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
8–12 years of professional software engineering experience
Proven experience in smart contract and blockchain development
Proficiency in Solidity, Rust, and TypeScript
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Effective problem-solving and collaboration skills
