Job Description
Manage and organize biometric data collection for nationals living abroad and refugees Ensure the verification of eligibility for citizens to be taken biometric data;
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and organize biometric data collection for nationals living abroad and refugees
Ensure the verification of eligibility for citizens to be taken biometric data;
Ensure biometric data collection for eligible nationals and refugees
Collect biometric data of eligible nationals and other citizens;
Produce reports on nationals living abroad and refugees
Produce monthly, quarterly and annual reports on Diaspora biometric data capture activity;
Advise supervisor accordingly;
Ensure all supporting documents are referenced and digitized
Digitize all received supporting documents.

Qualifications and Competencies
Degree/Diploma: A high school diploma or equivalent is usually required. A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is often preferred.
Courses: Relevant training in biometric data collection, information systems, or data security is beneficial.
Technical Skills
Biometric Technologies: Proficiency in operating biometric equipment, including fingerprint scanners, facial recognition systems, and iris scanners.
Data Management: Experience with data entry and management systems, particularly for securely handling sensitive personal data.
Software Proficiency: Knowledge of biometric data capture software and applications, such as AFIS (Automated Fingerprint Identification System) or similar tools used to capture and store biometric data.
Hardware Operation: Ability to set up and maintain biometric data capture devices and troubleshoot hardware issues.
Information Security: Understanding of data privacy and security practices, especially when handling sensitive personal information.
