Job Description
Job Title: Auditor, Internal (Technology, Data and Change)
Organisation: Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
To execute the audit process effectively within relevant stakeholder environments by demonstrating a clear understanding to independently and objectively provide assurance and advice that enables client centric risk management.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Adhere to applicable internal SBG policies & procedures and GIA methodology, policies & procedures.
Adhere to GIA data standards and relevant Group policies in obtaining and using data for assurance.
Adhere to legislative and regulatory requirements on internal audit.
Contribute to identifying and implementing effective use cases of data in automated assurance.
Contribute to assessing and identifying practices in the scope of audit projects which negatively impact client experience and raise recommendations to improve client experience.
Build strong relationships with relevant internal stakeholders to understand the business and enable the assurance process.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of a risk-based, resourced, and relevant assurance plan for the product or business area responsible for.
Identify and develop areas for personal growth, considering skill, behavioural and leadership development, through interventions, on-the-job learning or coaching. Where required provide on the job guidance and support to new joiners.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Type of qualification required: First Degree
Field of study preferred: Audit
Experience Required:
1-2 years working with data
Experience analysing and interpreting data and understanding IT controls.
3-4 years General business and or audit experience.
