SPOUTS is currently the largest ceramic water filter manufacturer in Africa.
Since SPOUTS sold its first Purifaaya in 2015, it has distributed 130,000+ filters to East Africa providing over 650,000 end-users with long-term access to safe drinking water. Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Developing Marketing Strategies: Create comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business objectives, and conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities. This is a key responsibility that significantly impacts the role’s overall performance (30%).
Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels, increase brand awareness, and maintain a strong, unified brand identity (20%).
Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and oversee marketing campaigns while measuring and analyzing their performance to optimize results (15%).
Budget Management: Effectively allocate and manage the marketing budget to ensure the efficient use of resources and maximize return on investment (10%).
Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment (10%).
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Manage internal communications, including announcements and events, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and build relationships with key stakeholders (10%).
Other Roles: Perform any additional tasks related to departmental objectives as assigned (5%).

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field
CIM certification is an added advantage
Experience:
2–4 years’ experience in a similar role
Proficiency in computer skills
Business Understanding/Knowledge:
Knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques, including content creation and Google Analytics
Languages:
Proficiency in spoken and written English
