Assistant Law Enforcement Officer job at Bushenyi District Service Commission

Traffic Control: Monitor traffic flow, enforce traffic laws, and respond to accidents or incidents on roadways to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians.

Community Engagement: Build positive relationships with community members by participating in community events, conducting outreach programs, and addressing concerns raised by residents.
Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies, natural disasters, and public disturbances to provide assistance, maintain order, and protect lives and property.

  • Patrol Duties: Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter criminal activity, respond to emergency calls, and ensure public safety.

  • Law Enforcement: Enforce laws and ordinances by issuing citations, making arrests, and apprehending suspects involved in criminal activities.

  • Investigation: Investigate crimes, accidents, and incidents by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and analyzing information to identify perpetrators and build cases for prosecution.
