Planning and budgeting for Anaesthetic activities in the hospital
Prepare patients for anaesthesia and administering it
Provide pre-and post-operative care to patients
Providing resuscitation services in case of emergency and disaster situations
Maintain anesthetictic operational equipment and ensuring their functionality
Requisitioning and accounting for anaesthetic materials and sundries
Supervising and appraising staff
Adhering to professional service code of conduct and ethics

Qualifications and Competencies
Qualification
Must be a Clinical Officer or Registered Nurse/Midwife
Must have a Diploma in Anaesthesia or its equivalent
Must be registered and gazetted by AHPC, with a valid practising license
