Job Description
This role involves leveraging business intelligence tools and data analytics to support MTN Nigeria’s Enterprise Business team. The successful candidate will gather, process, and analyze data to produce business insights, reports, and dashboards that help drive decision-making. The Analyst will also support key strategic initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to MTN’s mission of providing innovative digital services to customers.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Collect and analyze large datasets to generate business insights for the Enterprise Business Unit
Develop dashboards and data visualizations to communicate performance trends and KPIs
Identify business performance gaps and opportunities through data mining
Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
Support strategic planning and decision-making by providing accurate data analysis
Collaborate with technology teams to enhance data quality and reporting tools
Maintain up-to-date documentation on BI reports and processes
Ensure data governance, accuracy, and security in reporting activities
Proactively identify and recommend business process improvements based on insights

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or data science roles
Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and Excel
Solid understanding of SQL and database structures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Knowledge of telecom industry trends and performance metrics is an added advantage
