DwB applies product, industrial and service design to catalyse sustainable development and growth through creating innovative and meaningful solutions to challenges faced by organisations working in low- and middle-income countries all over the world. We enable businesses and organisations to access high-quality design services to boost productivity, improve their internal processes, grow their economic value and solve challenges appropriately."

Design without Borders (DwB) is a product and service design consultancy with a main office in Kampala, Uganda. DwB collaborates with multinational partners using user-centred design approaches to develop innovative product and service solutions that meet the needs of the end-users and are relevant to the wider contexts in which they operate.

Across Sub-Saharan Africa, formal technical training in product and service design is still limited. Therefore as part of our mission to support growing design talent, DwB launched the biennial Africa Design Fellowship program.
