Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC) Limited is a limited liability company solely owned by the Government of Uganda (GOU). It was established under Section 42 of the Petroleum (Exploration, Development, and Production) Act and Section 7 of the Petroleum (Refining, Conversion, Transmission and Midstream Storage) Act, both of 2013. It was incorporated under the Companies Act of 2012 as a limited liability company on June 12th, 2015.

Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC) Limited was established under the Petroleum (Exploration, Development and Production) Act and the Petroleum (Refining, Conversion, Transmission and Midstream storage) Act, both of 2013 and incorporated under the Companies Act, 2012. It is a limited liability company wholly owned by the Government of Uganda.
Administrative Support:
Perform general administrative duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence.
Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring timely ordering and restocking.
Record Keeping and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records and files, both electronic and paper-based.
Prepare and manage documents, reports, and presentations.
Scheduling and Coordination:
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events.
Manage calendars for executives or departments as needed.
Office Management:
Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Coordinate with cleaning and maintenance services.
Financial Administration:
Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as processing invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements.
Handle petty cash and maintain financial records.
Customer Service:
Provide assistance and information to visitors, clients, and staff.
Address and resolve any administrative issues or concerns.
Communication:
Draft and distribute internal communications, such as memos and announcements.
Assist in the preparation of external communications and marketing materials.
Project Support:
Assist in the planning and execution of projects and initiatives.
Provide support in research, data collection, and analysis.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Prepare and submit reports as required by management.
Technology and Equipment:
Operate and maintain office equipment, such as printers, copiers, and computers.
Provide basic IT support and liaise with IT departments for technical issues.
Staff Support:
Assist in onboarding new employees and organizing training sessions.
Maintain employee records and manage HR-related administrative tasks.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is advantageous.
Experience:
Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
Experience with office management and administrative procedures.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office software.
Familiarity with office equipment and basic IT troubleshooting.
Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional and courteous demeanor in interactions with colleagues, clients, and visitors.
Attention to Detail:
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
Ability to proofread documents and ensure they are error-free.
Interpersonal Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a diverse team.
