Job Description
Job Title: Accounts Relations Supervisors (Several Jobs)
Organisation: FINCA Uganda Limited
Duty Station: Central Region, Eastern Region, Western Region and Northern Region, Uganda
The Accounts Relationship Supervisor’s position is part of the senior management team of the branch. The candidate will supervise a team of Accounts Relationship Officers at the Branch:
Promoting, selling, processing, monitoring, recording and evaluating loans to ensure 100% repayment and compliance with credit lending policies and procedures.
Managing the growth and performance of the branch loans portfolio, develop, execute plans and implement strategies for achieving targets and mitigating risks in loans set by for the Branch.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Training, Coaching, Mentoring and Supervising Accounts Relations Officers.
Assessing, reviewing and approving loans as per the credit lending policy
Managing the performance and development of line staff.
Developing and executing plans that will allow the branch to achieve their targets and implement strategies set by the institution.
Monitoring the implementation of business growth strategies (lending and deposits) in the assigned Branches and make recommendations in line with the regional work plan and operational policies.
Monitoring key performance indicators for the Accounts Relations Officers i.e Client set targets, Portfolio quality set targets and Volumes
Ensuring proper procedures of custodianship of loan securities are followed
Ensuring Accounts Relations Officers maintain proper loan documentation as per the records and retention policy.
Analyzing, compiling and submitting reports as per the reporting standards
Planning and conducting performance appraisals as we as counseling of the Accounts Relations Officers

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
A Bachelor’s degree in any business oriented field, BBA, B.COM and degree in Microfinance. A sound knowledge of Microfinance, principles and practices of banking will be an added advantage
At least 3years work experience in Micro Finance Deposit Taking Institution.
Availability to travel 70% of the available time
