Job Description
The Account Specialist II will play a pivotal role in supporting client relationships and service delivery in the Construction Wrap-up group. Responsibilities include managing key processes, client communications, document handling, and renewal coordination. This role serves as a primary liaison between clients, brokers, and internal teams, ensuring client satisfaction and high-quality service delivery. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Support Account Executives and Associate Account Executives in managing client accounts
Handle client-facing activities and internal communication
Maintain and enhance client relationships
Manage project tracking and coordinate team collaboration
Review contracts and respond to complex coverage inquiries
Assist in the proposal and renewal process
Manage policy documentation including binders and endorsements
Oversee billing, invoices, collections, and related issues in collaboration with Premium Accounting
Coordinate service deliverables with Aon Client Services
Draft elements of reports and presentations tailored to specific audiences
Mentor junior staff and delegate responsibilities where applicable
Ensure compliance with internal tools and processes

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate’s degree preferred
Construction insurance experience preferred
Property & Casualty broker license preferred (or must be obtained within 120 days)
Strong communication and analytical skills
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Team player with mentoring capability
