Job Description

The Account Specialist II will play a pivotal role in supporting client relationships and service delivery in the Construction Wrap-up group. Responsibilities include managing key processes, client communications, document handling, and renewal coordination. This role serves as a primary liaison between clients, brokers, and internal teams, ensuring client satisfaction and high-quality service delivery. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support Account Executives and Associate Account Executives in managing client accounts

  • Handle client-facing activities and internal communication

  • Maintain and enhance client relationships

  • Manage project tracking and coordinate team collaboration

  • Review contracts and respond to complex coverage inquiries

  • Assist in the proposal and renewal process

  • Manage policy documentation including binders and endorsements

  • Oversee billing, invoices, collections, and related issues in collaboration with Premium Accounting

  • Coordinate service deliverables with Aon Client Services

  • Draft elements of reports and presentations tailored to specific audiences

  • Mentor junior staff and delegate responsibilities where applicable

  • Ensure compliance with internal tools and processes

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Associate’s degree preferred

  • Construction insurance experience preferred

  • Property & Casualty broker license preferred (or must be obtained within 120 days)

  • Strong communication and analytical skills

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Team player with mentoring capability
