Job Description
The Access Manager will be an integral part of DNDi’s HIV programme, responsible for project management and coordination of access and implementation activities. This includes planning, monitoring, reporting, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement across multiple countries and projects. The Access Manager will also support communication strategies and donor relations, contribute to the strategic direction of the programme, and play a leadership role in team meetings and project oversight.
The position requires strong project management experience, the ability to manage complex partnerships, and skills in strategic communication and fundraising. The Access Manager will report to the Access Leader and work closely with the Head of HIV Disease and country teams such as those in DRC.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and execute access project workplans in collaboration with DNDi departments and external partners
Monitor and manage project budgets, milestones, and contracts
Present project plans and progress reports internally and externally
Support donor reporting and fundraising activities
Organize stakeholder meetings and access-related events
Maintain productive relationships with HIV stakeholders and partners
Monitor field-level project execution and provide necessary guidance
Lead team meetings and ensure follow-up actions are completed
Develop internal and donor reports as required

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Advanced postgraduate degree or equivalent experience to a Master’s level
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a similar role
Experience working in public and private sectors desirable
Proven team collaboration in matrix environments
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent project and budget management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Clear, structured thinking and ability to multitask
Strong communication in multicultural, multilingual settings
Strategic thinking, leadership, and negotiation abilities
Ability to motivate teams and supervise junior staff
High level of autonomy in decision-making
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Fluency in English (French at intermediate level is an added advantage)
