Pride’s purpose is transforming lives responsibly. Job Title: Relationship Manager (2 Jobs)

Organisation: Pride Microfinance Limited (MDI)

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda


The  Relationship  Manager  will  report  to  the  Branch  Manager  and  will  be  based  at  any  of  the  Pride  Branches.

Main purpose  of  the  job:- He  /she  will  be  responsible  for  driving  business  growth,  credit  quality,  and  excellent  customer  experience  while  offering  a  wide  range  of  solutions  to  the  customers  based  on  the  customer  needs  for  the  respective  portfolio.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and  enhance  existing  customer  relationships  and  attract  prospective  customers  to  ensure  business  continuity  and

  • Manage and  grow  an  assigned  portfolio  of  clients  and  identify  business  development  opportunities  to  grow  market

  • Formulate and  implement  sales  action  plans  for  the  portfolio  that  will  facilitate  the  achievement  of  business

  • Analyse existing  customer  data  to  identify  expansion  and/or  additional  business  opportunities  utilising  the  MIS

  • Participate in  sales  campaigns,  techniques  and  tactics  in  a  planned  manner  to  achieve  sales

  • Prepare sales  reports  showing  the  balance  sheet  position,  pipeline  and  the  sales  performance  for  the  period

  • Proactively acquire  new  client  and  drive  cross-selling  of  additional  solutions  according  to  customer  needs;  as  well  as  referring  sales  leads  to  other  business  stakeholders  like  Asset  Finance,  Trade  finance,  among  others

  • Drive the  use/sale  of  alternative  self-service  banking  channels  and  educate  customers  on  the  benefits  of  utilising  alternative

  • Grow revenue  and  profitability  of  assigned  portfolio

  • Drive continuous  provision  of  high  quality  and  timely  customer  experience  to  promote  a  sales  &  service  culture.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s  Degree  in  any  business-related  discipline  including  agribusiness

  • A minimum  of  4  years’  experience  in  Banking  Business  role

  • Good verbal  and  written  communication  skills

  • Advanced, computer  literacy,  numerical  skills  and  statistical

  • Team player,  ability  to  work  under  pressure  and  in  position  to  exercise  excellent
