Job Title: Marketing Officer
Organisation: Partunify
Duty Station: Naalya and Makindye, Uganda
Our client is seeking a Marketing Officer, who will be responsible for building and maintaining their company brand and enhancing community engagement.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Development
Develop and execute a detailed marketing campaign strategy to increase visibility.
Create a social media presence from scratch and manage platforms (Facebook, X, TikTok, Instagram), ensuring weekly reporting stats
Maintain a content calendar for social media posts and campaigns.
Plan and execute community-based PR initiatives to establish partnerships.
Oversee the school’s website design and maintenance, ensuring relevant updates.
Develop digital and print advertisements, collaborating with a PR consultant for campaign launches.
Content Creation & Media Management
Capture and edit photos and videos for social media, marketing materials, and newsletters
Design and distribute a monthly newsletter.
Develop creative and engaging content to showcase company activities and highlights
Client & Community Engagement
Organize marketing initiatives targeting prospective clients
Strengthen relationships with existing clients through digital communication and event promotion.
Work closely with current staff to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Degree in Marketing or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in marketing, social media management, or public relations.
Fluency in both English and Luganda for effective communication.
Strong skills in social media management, content creation, and community engagement.
Experience with photo and video editing AI & software (e.g., Canva, Adobe tools).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and adapt to flexible work hours.
