Job Description
Job Title: Branch Operations Manager (2 Jobs)
Organisation: Pride Microfinance Limited (MDI)
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
The Branch Operations Manager will report to the Branch Manager and will be based at any of Pride’s Branches.
Main Purpose of the job:- He/she will be responsible for overseeing and controlling general operations at the Branch by guiding, monitoring, controlling and planning for resources and confirming that all branch activities are carried out in line with Bank’s internal controls.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting the growth and achievement of the branch deposits and non-credit income
Hold relevant branch individuals accountable for the implementation of effective strategies to ensure compliance to all relevant laws, regulations and internal policies and procedures
Ensure 100% compliance to Branch Operations, policies and
Supervise cash operations within the branch while ensuring that the highest standard of customer service is
Monitor and manage the branches’ liquidity by maintaining up-to-date liquidity projection reports and replenishing the branch’s
Manage the performance productivity and development of unit staff in line with set HR
Manage the staff productivity and development of staff in line with set HR
Developing and adherence to annual branch

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in any
4 years’ experience of Banking Internal staff should have at least good performance rating in the recent 2 appraisal cycles.
Should have knowledge in banking
