Job Description
Job Title: Financial Inclusion Officer (13 Fresher Jobs)

Duty Station: Busia, Iganga, Nakasongola, Masindi, Hoima, Masaka, Kyotera, Fortportal, Mubende, Kawempe, Kireka, Mbale, Mukono, Uganda
The Financial Inclusion Officer (FIO) is responsible for promoting growth of clients and the portfolio in the group methodology through mobilization of new potential customers to grow the group lending portfolio and provide financial literacy trainings to the group customers as part of a preparation process as the clients take up FINCA credit group loans products.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Together with the Branch Manager, drawing up monthly plans in the identified catchment locations where sales and marketing activities such as community sales drives, focus group discussions, marketing drives and door to door have been conducted.
Together with the Branch Manager, drawing up monthly 3 pack training session for each of the identified groups of potential customers for the group lending product to achieve the monthly required targets.
Financial literacy training of Groups identified.
Training clients about the FINCA Uganda Self-Managed Group Product methodology.
Guiding group in selection of their leaders and group governance principles.
Emphasizing the group formation, cohesion/solidarity and record keeping during the trainings.
Evaluating of the readiness of the group members to take up FINCA financial services.
Implementing the schedule of action work plans agreed at the beginning of each month and providing weekly feedback to the Branch Manager with a dotted line to the Product Associate.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma in Business, Marketing, Education or any other related field.
Fluency in both English and local language in area of operation above.
