Job Description
Job Title: Field Sales Agents (100 Jobs) – 20 Jobs per location A’ Level and above
Organisation: African Clean Energy (ACE)
Duty Station: Mbale, Gulu, Fort Portal, Arua and Soroti, Uganda
We are seeking dynamic and dedicated Field Sales Agents to join our team. This role is crucial in the distribution, maintenance and customer adoption of the ACE One clean cooking stove. The Field Sales Agent will be able to provide consumer finance to our customers and will also be responsible for the overall health and repayment rate of your customer portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent organisational skills and a passion for making a tangible impact in underserved communities.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Identify potential customers and introduce them to the ACE One;
Perform stove demonstrations to showcase the stove and our sustainable fuels and gather prospect information to follow up;
Demonstrate the benefits and encourage the adoption of sustainable fuels;
Advise customers of eligibility criteria for consumer finance options and perform KYC surveys to determine eligibility;
Follow up with prospects by introducing the stove and fuels to additional family members;
Close sales and complete all sales documentation accurately;
Introduce the customer to ACE Connect and educate them about the benefits and encourage them to sync to gather the usage data from the stove;
Perform after sales services such as customer training, preventative maintenance, fuel distribution, ensure regular repayments are made, etc.;
Monitor the overall health of your consumer finance portfolio and ensure any missed payments are addressed immediately;
Work closely with the Coordinator to look after all customers in your portfolio in terms of maintenance, repayments and the gathering of usage data;
Any other tasks assigned deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum UACE or Diploma or equivalent experience in Sales, Marketing, or any business related field
Proven experience as a Field Sales Representative or similar role preferably in renewable energy
Recommendation and Residence letter from LC 1 Office
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Proven ability to achieve sales targets and deliver results consistently
Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
Results-driven with the ability to focus on achieving set objectives and goals
Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
Must be a native of the location applied for.
Ability to speak and communicate in the local language he/she is applying for.
Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours
