Job Description
The role of the Manager Security and Investigations involves leading and coordinating all security and investigative operations within Posta Uganda. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining safety protocols, conducting thorough investigations into security breaches, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies and protocols to safeguard Posta Uganda’s assets, facilities, and staff.
Lead and manage security operations, including surveillance, risk assessments, and security audits.
Conduct investigations into security breaches, thefts, fraud, and other criminal activities within the organization.
Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and other relevant bodies during investigations and crisis situations.
Maintain security records and prepare detailed investigative reports for management review.
Train staff on security awareness, emergency response, and safety procedures.
Oversee the deployment and performance of security personnel across various locations.
Develop and maintain effective partnerships with external security agencies.
Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards and regulations.
Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, coordinating response efforts as necessary.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, Public Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
At least five (5) years of progressive experience in security management, investigations, or related roles, preferably in a large organization.
Proven track record of conducting investigations and risk assessments.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in report writing and presentation skills.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive information with discretion.
