Job Description
The Manager, Client Relations is responsible for implementing marketing strategies, managing public relations activities, and maintaining active engagement on social media platforms. The role involves working with the marketing agency to boost product awareness, managing client relations to ensure excellent customer service, and handling media interactions to safeguard and enhance the company’s public image.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Support all company products to achieve their market share, revenue, and awareness targets.
Oversee and manage the activities of the marketing agency.
Ensure that both internal and external clients receive adequate attention at all times.
Maintain a positive corporate image for Posta Uganda.
Manage all matters related to the media.
Engage actively on social platforms including Twitter, WhatsApp, and email to enhance the company’s digital presence.
Increased brand recognition and awareness among the target audience.
Growth in social media followers and engagement rate.
Increased revenue attributed to marketing campaigns.
Positive media mentions and increased press releases and interviews.
Reduction of negative publicity incidents.
Timely and effective crisis management with minimal negative impact on the brand.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
An Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or Media Relations from a recognized university.
Membership in a reputable professional body such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Accredited Public Relations (APR), or Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) is an added advantage.
A minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience, with at least four (4) years at the Officer or Supervisory Level in a reputable organization.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
Media and public relations expertise.
Proficiency in digital marketing and social media management.
Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
Creative thinking with a strong brand orientation.
Leadership and team collaboration abilities.
