Job Description
The Branch Channels Officer will be responsible for the continuous growth and development of digital banking channels, particularly agent and merchant networks. This involves maintaining positive relationships, conducting regular visits, providing training, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations. Additionally, the officer will actively promote the use of digital products to enhance customer experience and financial inclusion.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Review and update the agent banking and merchant business network.
Conduct customer relationship management by visiting 100% of the agent/merchant base.
Present call reports to the Branch Manager and submit them to the Agent/Merchant Manager for review.
Engage in the selection and recruitment of new agents and merchants.
Provide timely feedback to prospects and maintain a positive relationship.
Support the delivery and updating of training content for agents and merchants.
Ensure agents comply with operational guidelines and report any fraudulent activities.
Maintain high levels of customer service and address customer complaints promptly.
Drive customer engagement with digital banking products.
Monitor agent liquidity to meet customer needs.
Coordinate liquidity forecasting and delivery processes.
Drive customer adoption of digital platforms to increase financial inclusion.
Ensure customers receive first-class experiences while using digital products.
Generate daily reports on agent and merchant activities.
Ensure proper branding and distribution of tools of trade at agent outlets.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Proven knowledge of digital banking channels and customer relationship management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
