Uganda Communications Commission Jobs

To support the implementation of the monitoring and evaluation plans and activities related to the various UCUSAF project initiatives in line with the Communications Act

To contribute to efficiency in court proceedings by participating in court processes and maintaining accurate legal records.

To oversee the installation, operation maintenance and repair of all Electromechanical and  electronics systems and equipment within the facilities owned and/or rented by the Commission.

To prepare and review the Commission’s legal cases, instruments, and documents and, conduct research to provide advice that protects the Commission’s interests

To support the execution of technical responsibilities at the Regional Office in alignment with the mission of the Commission.

To evaluate and enhance the performance of the multimedia sector in Uganda by monitoring industry trends, supporting content development, ensuring regulatory compliance

Ensure databases on broadcast infrastructure, license applications, and equipment type approval reviews remain up to date, accurate, and easily accessible.

To provide legal advice and enforcement action in respect of debt collection together with the relevant units in the Finance Department.

Execute field inspections, audits, and monitoring to ensure ongoing adherence to competition regulations.

Ensure the law within the legal timelines.Continuously update a diary of all ongoing cases and maintain an updated report of all court matters.

Utilise tools such as Power BI and GIS for data visualisation, providing actionable insights through dashboards and reports.

Manage the appraisal, weeding and boxing of inactive files and transfer them to the records centre.
