The position is primarily responsible for supporting the POL/ECON Counselor and Deputy Counselors for Political and Economic Affairs

The job holder provides consular services to U.S. citizens, conducts non-adjudicatory visa processing, and assists in investigation and validation studies.

This role is integral to supporting the team’s work on political and economic affairs.

As the senior Political LE staff, incumbent must have detailed knowledge of U.S. interests and objectives as well as of Uganda’s political landscape

The job holder oversees the day-to-day administrative functions and logistical coordination in support of one or more branches in the Centers for Disease Control Uganda country office.

Installation, Maintenance, and Repair: Performing installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical control systems, including troubleshooting and fixing any electrical issues that arise.

Conduct background checks, reference checks, and verify employment eligibility in compliance with legal requirements.

Collaborate with stakeholders to assess requirements and design systems that meet clinical, administrative, and reporting needs.

Embassies work to enhance bilateral trade and investment, assisting U.S. companies in entering and operating in the host country's market.

Developing and maintaining performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of administrative processes and identifying areas for improvement.

Manage the Mission Director's schedule, coordinate meetings, and ensure timely notifications

Maintaining and organizing files, databases, and records, ensuring confidentiality and easy retrieval of information.
