Kampala, Uganda
Seed Effect is a Christ-centered economic development organization with a mission to bring hope and opportunity to the hard places by empowering the poor to know Jesus and provide for their families with dignity through savings-led microfinance, discipleship, and community building. Since its inception in 2009, Seed Effect has grown from a small outreach in South Sudan to a thriving organization with impactful programs across Uganda, gaining recognition for its innovative, faith-integrated model that blends financial empowerment with spiritual development.
Known for its passionate and mission-driven culture, Seed Effect offers a collaborative and nurturing work environment that values compassion, integrity, and excellence, while providing its employees with meaningful roles, leadership development, and opportunities to create lasting change. With a flexible structure supporting both field-based and administrative roles, the organization continues to expand its reach through scalable Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA) programs that prioritize sustainability, ownership, and resilience among vulnerable communities.
Seed Effect's work is underpinned by strong core values of faith, dignity, stewardship, and community, and it actively invests in initiatives that uplift women, promote education, and rebuild war-torn societies. Learn more at www.seedeffect.org.
