The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for managing the resources management functions in Kampala, Uganda.

You will Process Ugandan driving license, duty-free and tax exemptions and monitor timely processing of documents.

On a local level, liaise with customs and revenue officials to facilitate clearance of IOM consignment, as required by the country law.

Perform goods receipt with the programme team and verify the required goods/services meet the requirements.

Assist the MPA unit with planning, preparing, organizing and implementing all aspects of the project activities.

Liaise with field offices and field procurement assistants to confirm all items sent are properly received and PRISM is updated.

Support the National Security Officer in liaising with UNDSS and other local security stakeholders at the appropriate level.

Oversee identity and document verification prior to the distribution of travel documentation to refugees, immigrants and migrants.

Respond to complex information requests and inquiries; set up and maintain files/records; organise meetings, workshops and training sessions.
