The Technical Advisor II, SBC will provide technical assistance (TA) to the Government of Uganda (GoU) and focus regions and districts to improve the access to and use of maternal, newborn and child health

Family Planning officers will assist the project’s Acholi and Bugisu regions and districts to improve access and use of quality health services at community and health facility levels

Gathering relevant data and information through research, interviews, surveys, and other methods.

Develop, analyze, and monitor program budgets; monitor and track obligations and expenditures against budgets.

Ensure adherence to technical quality standards and donor guidelines, leveraging internal and external resources, as needed.

Assess organizational systems and SBC capacity and develop tailored technical assistance plans with selected partners.

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions to the supply chain.

Maintain supplier information for regularly purchased items and be informed of current local market conditions.

Provide guidance and technical support in alignment with GoU RMNCH policies and strategies, including USAID development priorities.

Maintain diplomatic and high-quality interactions and clear and consistent communications internally and with partners.

Oversee the selection of appropriate MNH technical assistance to meet regional, district, facility and community needs
